About Sanatan Pravah Trust:
Sanatan Pravah Trust is a public charitable organization devoted to preserving and promoting India’s ancient spiritual, cultural, and ecological values. Deeply rooted in the principles of Sanatan Dharma, the Trust works to maintain a sacred balance between tradition and sustainability.
One of the core missions of the Trust is the respectful and environment-friendly disposition of pooja materials. This includes used flowers, garlands, idols, offerings, and other sacred items that are often discarded improperly. Sanatan Pravah Trust collects these materials and ensures they are disposed of in a dignified, eco-conscious manner, in accordance with Vedic customs and environmental best practices. This effort helps protect natural water bodies, prevent pollution, and promote public awareness about responsible ritual practices.
The Trust also plays an active role in spreading awareness about the Vikram Samvat Panchang, the traditional Indian lunar calendar. Through workshops, lectures, printed materials, and digital outreach, it educates people on the importance of tithis (lunar dates), muhurtas (auspicious timings), seasonal shifts (ritu parivartan), and festival timings. This helps communities reconnect with nature’s cycles and the deeper spiritual meanings of time.
In addition, Sanatan Pravah Trust promotes the wisdom of Yoga and Ayurveda, organizing events, seminars, and community wellness programs. These ancient sciences are presented not only as physical disciplines but as complete systems for holistic living that enhance well-being in harmony with nature.
The Trust also takes pride in celebrating Indian traditional festivals in a culturally enriching and environmentally sensitive way. It encourages community participation and fosters understanding of the spiritual significance behind these festivals.
Through all its efforts, Sanatan Pravah Trust aims to inspire conscious living, ecological responsibility, and a return to India’s timeless spiritual roots.
